World Premier of new film Church N State by Producer and Director Julian Vaughan Hampton

MILWAUKEE - Aug. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- The premier for the short film Church N State will be Monday 8/19: 9:30 PM at the Rosebud Theater, 6823 W. North Avenue Milwaukee, WI 53213. The doors open at 9:00. The film is about two women building a friendship despite extreme difference and through extreme circumstances in this heartfelt drama.

Julian Vaughan Hampton is the writer, director, and producer of this short film. The film stars New York actress Daniela Thome and Milwaukee actress and theater star Marvette Knight. Other cast members include Cinematographer Xavier LeBlanc, Ed Lester, Robert Andrews, Allen Vaysberg, and Steve Jelinek. The movie was filmed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and includes actors and actresses from Milwaukee and Chicago. The producer, Julian Vaughan Hampton is the author of well received books including Limbus, The Contradiction, and The Adventures of Annie Marmalade. His contributions also include writing songs that are featured in the film.

Members of the cast and crew will be there for a Q & A after the film, as well as comments from the cancer support group Stillwaters.
