NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Aug. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- NASHVILLE, Tenn. August 16, 2013, Holy Fire Publishing (www.christianpublish.com) releases “When the Donkey Wept in the Garden of Eden” (Paperback, U.S. $9.80,

ISBN: 978-1-60383-453-7). Sunny Pazhorickal’s “When the Donkey Wept” describes man’s separation from God and invites readers to experience redemption.

“When the Donkey Wept in the Garden of Eden” is Pazhorickal’s collection of three creative, scripture-based poems describing man’s condition since the fall. The first poem, “When the Donkey Wept,” recounts the Genesis creation story, exploring the origin of man’s suffering through Adam’s pet, Donkey’s, viewpoint. Donkey was with Eve when Lucifer tricked her, and, with them, he experiences the consequences of the Fall: separation from God, chaos, pain, guilt and death. Donkey, portrayed as originally a majestic, intellectual and the “undisputed king of the animal kingdom,” that becomes a despised animal of burden “yet is foretold on which the King Messiah is to travel during his glorious entry as King of Israel and Savior of mankind.”

“My Dear Son O Dear One” follows a father’s journey around the world, searching for his missing son, but finding once great nations in decay, having turned away from God. Reminiscent of the Ecclesiastes preacher, the father discerns humanity’s fate: “How short a life earmarked for men, even that [life] spent for fighting and worrying; for pebbles are permanent, but not we, the humankind!”

“From Here I Have Nowhere to Go,” based on Proverbs and Revelation, follows life’s journey from the mother’s womb, spanning the days of life, and in the end passing through the terrible valley of the shadow of death. On the other side, a brilliant shore unfolds. There the “Wounded One” receives him and takes him to the “One Who sits on the Eternal Throne.”

“Remember! The war is for mind, your mind, my mind. Each one of us will be aligned either on side of the loving Heavenly Father or with the terrible deceiver, the evil Serpent, Lucifer, the Satan. There is no third, independent position. Lucifer plays his age-old trick on mankind, first entice the man by pleasures of flesh and glories of life and in case he does not succeed, inflict injury and pain by terrible torture. That was always the trick played by Lucifer throughout the history of human kind. This book is an invitation for the reader to experience those pains, those soft but sweet pains. A kind of pain I am sure, every reader will enjoy!”—Sunny Pazhorickal
