While Emery Planning had a system that worked well in the past it became clear that the practice wanted greater customisation coupled with a system that could act as a management tool. Furthermore, the growing number of emails meant archiving was becoming increasingly difficult. These factors led Emery Planning to look for a new system which would provide a more integrated approach. Joint Managing Director Denise Emery discusses Emery Planning’s requirements:
As Emery Planning looked further into the Union Square system the concept of having an industry specific system was attractive. When speaking to Denise about the further appeal of Union Square she revealed: “Union Square will provide the opportunity to share information, increasing visibility across the practice. Additionally, viewing documents and information externally will allow for easier retrieval of information.” After considering the available options, Emery Planning decided Union Square was by far the best suited solution to its requirements.
