Actor Said Faraj receives nomination for The American Failure in the AOF Int'l Film Festival

Faraj receives nod for Best Actor; goes head to head against noted actor Skeet Ulrich.
 
LOS ANGELES - Aug. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- International actor Said Faraj has received a Best Actor nomination for his portrayal as Carlos Elias in the action-packed thriller The American Failure, which will screen at the upcoming Action On Film International Film Festival at 8pm on August 21st. The nomination places Faraj against actor Skeet Ulrich (As Good As It Gets; TV’s Jericho; etc), among others.

The American Failure tells the story of Los Angeles attorney Carlos Elias who finds himself on the run from a ruthless international drug cartel and the law after extorting millions of dollars. The film also features Hakeen Kae-Kazim, Dan Thiel, Adrienne Wilkinson and Chriss Anglin.

Said Faraj sought a career in the film industry more than 25 years ago when he emigrated to the United States from Lebanon. His work can be seen in acclaimed films, including: Green Zone; The Siege; Bad Influence; True Romance; and others. He has also been featured in popular TV series such as: NCIS: Los Angeles; 24; The Unit; Bones; and more.   

The 2013 AOF International Film Festival is slated for August 16th-24th at the Krikorian Theater located at 410 S Myrtle Avenue, Monrovia, CA. The festival features short films, documentaries and other projects from around the world.
