Curve-Corners for Drywall. Perfect curves, every time

The easiest way to create curves in drywall. Any radius from 2" upwards. Installs just like drywall but allows curves that are impossible in drywall.

MIDLAND, Mich. - Aug. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- “Curve-Corners for Drywall” – a great alternative for rounded corners

Midland, MIMay 11 2007 - Fulcrum Composites Inc. announces an expanded range of products as well as new offerings to help reduce shipping costs for small customers.

Curve-Corners for Drywall are prefabricated curved panels designed to provide seamless curved corners in drywall installations.

Curve Panels install exactly like drywall but bridge the gap between the largest radius available in vinyl trim and the smallest radius that it is possible to bend conventional drywall.  Curve Panels are now available in any radius from 2” upwards.

Product offerings include 90 degree inside and outside corners, cornices, archways, soffits and column covers.

Previously the panels were offered in 8’ & 10’ lengths. While this speeds installation, it made shipping costs prohibitive for many smaller remodeling jobs. To reduce shipping costs panels are now offered in 4’ lengths. The shorter lengths can be butt joined and are offered with tapers similar to the factory edge on drywall to allow perfectly smooth joints between pieces. Curved sanding blocks are provided to make it even easier to produce perfect, invisible joints.

According to Chris Edwards, president of Fulcrum Composites Inc:

“Since their introduction Curve Panels have become a favorite with many contractors, allowing them to save significant jobsite time and cost while still producing perfectly formed curves. For larger jobs utilizing many panels, shipping costs are not an issue; however we noticed that for smaller installations our customers often found shipping costs unacceptable.  Therefore we are happy to offer 4’ lengths of our panels allowing everything to be shipped with standard shipping at much lower cost to the customer.

We are always looking for ways to make our customers lives easier. We started by creating 90 degree radius corners at the request of a local architect, we added factory tapers on the straight edges to avoid having to ‘float the butt’, then we added 180 degree wrap-arounds to give a chip resistant way to finish openings in stud walls, next came column covers and arch sections, all at the request of our customers. We also produce custom curved soffit pieces which dramatically reduce the amount of framing required. Whenever a customer describes their problem, we see that as an opportunity to modify or extend our product. Our mantra ‘if you can draw it, we’ll make it’ has stood us in good stead. Many times what starts out as a custom job for an individual customer translates into a new product that we offer as standard.”
