BGCOP Hosts “All in for the Kids” Casino Night Fundraiser

OXNARD, Calif. - Aug. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Oxnard, Calif. – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme announces its “All in for the Kids” Casino Night at 5 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Oceanview Pavilion in Port Hueneme. The casino night will offer a variety of casino games including black jack, craps, roulette and three card poker as well as various prizes, appetizers, a no host bar and a live airing of the pay-per-view boxing fight Mayweather vs. Canelo throughout the venue.

“We’re excited to put on this great event,” said Kelly Ventimiglia, BGCOP director of major gifts and annual giving. “We have a lot of wonderful prizes including a Vegas vacation, gift baskets and gift cards.”

Doors open at 5 p.m., games begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. General Admission is $65 through advanced online purchase, and can also be purchased at the door for $75. BGCOP is offering a special deal: buy one ticket get the second one free until Aug. 30. The event is open to all members of the community, however guests must be at least 21 years or older to attend.

“Our goal is to hopefully raise $30,000 at the ‘All in for the Kids’ event,” said Tim Blaylock BGCOP chief professional officer. “It’s a great opportunity to have fun and socialize while also giving back to the kids at the Club and the greater community.”

BGCOP is also accepting sponsorships for the casino night which include table, funny money and entire event sponsorships.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme exists to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. With three full-service clubs, 13 school program sites and one housing site, the organization is one of the largest of its kind in California, serving 9,000 members annually. The group is also the first Boys & Girls Club of its kind to open a site inside a Juvenile Justice Center in the state of California.
