Follow on Google News | Orlando Shakespeare Theater Hosts Live Twitter Q&APlaywright and Director take over Theater’s Twitter account to answer questions about World Premiere dark comedy "The Cortez Method"
Orlando Shakes’ live twitter Q&A is open to the public. Interested parties should log on to Twitter between noon and 12:30 p.m. on August 19 and tweet @OrlandoShakes with questions for Rob Keefe and Mark Routhier. Questions for Rob should include #askrob and questions for Mark should include #askmark. The Cortez Method is a darkly comedic piece that questions what happens when bad decisions are made for the right reasons. Sara and Bill are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new baby, when an unexpected visit from Bill’s older brother, Walter, upends their hopeful future by shedding light on their troubled past. Keefe’s play forces audiences to deal with infidelity, prescription drugs, home improvement, and the dysfunctional family in the middle of it all. Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s production features actors Paul Bernardo as Bill, Riley Clermont as Walter, Suzanne O’Donnell as Sara, and Melanie Whipple as Odette. The creative team includes Scenic Designer Robbin Watts, Costume Designer Molly Walz, Lighting Designer Mary Heffernan, and Sound Designer George Hamrah. Harriett's New Play Series is made possible through the generous support of Harriett Lake. The Cortez Method is sponsored by Ingrid and Coleman Cordell and CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is supported by United Arts of Central Florida with funds from the United Arts collaborative campaign and by State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council.
