New Integra integrated website & microsites by NetXtra delights Agricultural Industries Confederati

BURY ST EDMUNDS, U.K. - Aug. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- As one of the membership and not-for-profit sectors’ leading website and digital solutions providers, NetXtra has recently launched their latest membership website for the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) - an organisation representing, promoting and supporting the agri-supply industry.

The new website - www.agindustries.org.uk - which has been designed, developed and integrated to AIC’s Advanced NFP Integra back-office system by NetXtra, is complemented by the launch of two supporting and industry renowned microsites. The first is the launch of a new dedicated microsite that expands and enhances the Assurance Checker area of the original site. The new AIC Trade Assurance Scheme Checker microsite - www.aictradeassurance.org.uk - enables farmers, stakeholders and others in the agriculture industry to search for approved agri-supply participants, contractors and suppliers by either name or location.

The new Trade Assurance Checker microsite is also proving a hit with AIC members, with one, Mr Richard Blower, Quality Manager at Frontier Agriculture Limited commenting “The new Assurance Checker is excellent! Fast and clear. Well done!”

NetXtra has also launched the AIC’s new Feed Advisor Register (FAR) microsite - www.feedadviserregister.org.uk - a portal set up in response to Government, industry and customer demands to provide certified members of the Farm Assurance Scheme with a detailed online register of livestock feeding advisors.

All three of the newly integrated sites allow the AIC to get more from their existing Integra Online Services (OLS). AIC members can now log into the site to view restricted content and also update their organisation details directly to AIC’s Integra membership system, ensuring that it is kept routinely up-to-date.

John Kelley, Chief Operating Officer at the AIC, said “Since launch, our website and microsites have gone from strength to strength. Our AIC Feed Advisor Register microsite has enjoyed an unprecedented surge of interest, with over 800 registrations – which has exceeded our expectations in only three months”.

All sites now benefit from vastly improved and more intuitive navigation. With the agri-supply industry covering many sectors, the site has now been more conveniently divided up into seven sectored areas, including: Animal Feed, Crop Protection, Fertiliser, Grain and Oilseed, Seed, Policy and Additional Services. Each has its own restricted members’ area, with a range of features, including sector-related news, committee details, blogs and other useful information and resources.

With all three sites singularly underpinned by NetXtra’s Content Management System, the AIC now have much greater control over their web content. Changes and updates are now made by the AIC’s various sector-specialist web administrators, with content managed hierarchically using the CMS’s in-built workflow system. NetXtra have also streamlined the way that the AIC presented information to members by consolidating existing content from areas, such as news articles aggregated from their current email newsletter client.
