Nationwide Real Estate Website Shaped by Helping Communities, Donates New Computers to High School

DALLAS - Aug. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The Rent Rite Directory (https://www.therrd.com/) (RRD), a nationwide Real Estate Services website that works with police departments nationwide to inform and educate property managers on ways to improve their communities, donated four new computers to Buffalo’s Lafayette  High School (http://www.buffaloschools.org/lafayette.cfm) to assist students in English Language Immersion Programs, last week.

The company held a nationwide contest and asked their clients to nominate a deserving school in their community. The contest was spurred on by a larger goal of the company’s: to improve communities.

“Normally we work with property management staff, and police departments, but we also saw a need to give back to the children in those communities, to gain access to much needed resources, that they might not otherwise have.” – Joe Killinger, Partner at the Rent Rite Directory.

The Dallas based company offers nationwide tenant screening, a complimentary rental history database, and other complimentary services to Property Management and Real Estate Professionals. Their mission is to create channels of communication between communities, and their local law enforcement agencies. They recently received their second certificate of appreciation for their work with cities and crime prevention programs around the country.

Darlene Jeffery, property manager of Buffalo Housing Pro Inc. (http://buffalohousingprofessional.com/), nominated the deserving school in her community. She was also there to help set up and implement the computers into the school, and had this to say:

“I cannot begin to tell you how this will impact them. We have a school of dedicated leaders and staff and students hungry to learn.”

In Ms. Jeffery’s nomination of the hard-working school, she noted:

“Our goal is to provide academically enriching and culturally responsive programs and opportunities to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of all of our students. This requires computers and programs that allow both staff and students to translate information.”

“The school staff understands that their students cannot escape the outside factors that influence whether students learn. Lafayette administers programs that seize opportunities to connect students and families to resources and support. The driving force is a simple premise: Education does not occur in isolation from the rest of a student’s life. These teenage students have survived many tragedies/traumas, but work hard in school, to pass.”

The computers will be delivered Monday, August 5th, 2013 in preparation of the 2013-2014 school year. The Rent Rite Directory couldn’t be more pleased to give back to a truly deserving community, and looks forward to next year’s community contest.
