SARASOTA, Fla. - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- As humans, it is our fundamental right to be able to receive medical attention at affordable rates. Unfortunately, many people find themselves in emergency medical situations that require them to drain their savings and in some extreme cases, go bankrupt. Reverend Barry Wright believes that the recent strides in healthcare reform have brought positive changes to our country.

With the mandate for everyone who can afford insurance to possess it, the number of uninsured Americans will drastically decrease. Economists say that this will lead to lower healthcare costs across the board. Pastor Barry Wright believes everyone should be charged fair prices for the same care.

Another positive change is that insurance companies can no longer refuse healthcare coverage based on preexisting conditions. Beginning in 2014, if you have cancer, diabetes, or any other illness, an insurance company cannot deny health coverage.

Young people can now stay on their parents' insurance policy until they are 26. Reverend Barry Wright believes this is an excellent stride for our youth, who with the recent economic downturns, have been forced to take lower paying jobs after college.

Healthcare reform was necessary, and Pastor Barry Wright is optimistic that these changes will bring positive impacts to our youth and our economy.
