Bargain Hunt in Langport this Sunday 18th August 2013

LANGPORT, U.K. - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- On Sunday 18th August, a Street Party is planned in Langport.  This is to celebrate the half way mark of our lovely town’s necessary, noisy and dirty roadworks.

The Street party will take place on the Town Square (Parrett Close) from 12.00 noon to 4pm and is open to all. Everyone is welcome.  

Alongside the Street Party, there is also a Street Bargain Hunt along Bow Street and North Street from noon to dusk.  Whilst the road works are taking place, why not take this opportunity to clean up sheds, garages, spare bedrooms and attics and pick up some bargains?

Residents of Bow Street and North Street are invited to take advantage of the quieter streets to clear clutter.

Join forces with local businesses and use the new pavements to display the stuff you have been meaning to get rid of for years.  You can make a few pennies, give it away or find something to swap with your neighbour.  One person’s rubbish is another’s treasure.  So let’s have some fun, enjoy our new pavements and attract a few visitors to our most precious treasure – our town.

 

Free parking in the town’s car parks and on Westover Trading Estate. The roads may be closed, but Langport is very much open.  Come and join us for the Street Party, we look forward to welcoming you to Langport.
