Cpl to create 60 new jobs in the next 12 months

Cpl recruitment will hire 60 new recruiters nationwide over the next year

DUBLIN - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Cpl Resources plc expects to recruit a total of 60 new recruitment consultants across the entire business over the next 12 months. The demand for these new hires is as a direct result of the continued growth of the Cpl group, rather than employee attrition.

From February 2nd 2012 to August 1st 2013, Ireland’s leading recruitment and outsourcing company hired a record number of consultants across 19 areas of the business. In the year to date July 31st, 71 recruiters were taken on across the business, this represents a 43% increase in new recruitment hires when compared to the same period between 2011 and 2012, where the figure was 60.

This year, the largest number of recruiters were hired by Flexsource, a well-established Industrial and Technical Staffing Services provider within the group. The on-going skills gap in critical areas of the Irish economy, namely IT, Science, Engineering and Pharma has resulted in Cpl hiring 10 additional recruitment specialists in those areas in the past 12 months, up from 7 in the previous year.

Thus far in 2013, Cpl’s Science & Engineering division has hired 7 new recruiters and has a requirement for an extra 4 in the coming months. Cpl recruits for Banking, Finance, Accounting, Insurance and Legal candidates through its Careers Register brand, which has observed continued growth in these sectors. The company has employed 9 new staff in the last 18 months and are expected to hire up to as many as 10 new consultants in the coming year.

Sales is also experiencing growth so far in 2013, having hired 3 recruiters for the development of the IT Sales sector. With consultative and solutions sales professionals in high demand, it also has a need for 2 more recruiters for the sales IT service sector.

Likewise in the marketing, online and digital media space there are plans to hire 2 specialised recruiters as the gap between Sales & Marketing has minimised.

In Cpl ICT, a total of 8 people have been hired in the last 18 months. Because of the nature of this sector, there is an ever increasing need for specialist recruiters who are up to date with the latest developments in IT.  It is expected that ICT will expand by an additional 4 consultants.

Retail has hired a further 3 recruiters with the expansion of the international retail division and the growth of the temporary retail services division, as retailer look for more flexible solutions for their businesses.

HR Recruitment has also seen growth in the market this year and has hired 2 recruiters in the first two quarters. There has been an increase across all HR specialisms, in particular for specialist onsite recruiters, where candidates with high levels of sourcing and technical capabilities are in high demand.

Cpl Office Support is the Administration, Office Support and Secretarial division of the Cpl Group and one of Ireland’s best known and most respected providers of office support professionals in Ireland. In the coming year, they will have a requirement for 3 new hires. With a growing demand for multilingual candidates in many multinational IT companies, Cpl Language Jobs have expanded their operations by recruiting 6 new consultants in the last 6 months with 8 more expected before the end of 2013.
