Appeal Board upholds hearing judge's decision in favor of Imbesi Christensen client

NEW YORK - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Imbesi Christensen successfully defended an an appeal of an initial hearing award issued in favor of the firm's client.  

In the initial hearing, attorney Brittany Weiner, an associate of the law firm, successfully represented a former employee of  Inter64 CINQ LLC (Inter64) who was initially denied unemployment benefits.  

The hearing judge issued an award, in favor of the firm's client, after a hearing was conducted.  The decision overruled the initial determination that the employee was terminated due to misconduct.  

Subsequent to the decision, Inter64 filed an appeal, requesting the initial decision in favor of the firm's client be overturned.  The Honorable Leonard D. Polletta, on behalf of the Appeal Board, denied Inter64's appeal and determined that the hearing judge's decision should be affirmed.  As a result, the law firm's client is allowed to maintain the benefits awarded after the initial hearing.
