Washington Redskins’ Pierre Garçon Donates New Football Uniforms to Area High Schools

WASHINGTON - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- What: In early June following the success of his inaugural charity event, Washington Redskins wide receiver and Russell Athletic brand ambassador Pierre   Garçon announced a contest through his team’s social media channels, searching for one high school each from Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia to receive brand new football jerseys for the 2013 season.

Garçon along with Russell Athletics will be visiting Thomas Jefferson High School, Theodore Roosevelt High School and Springbrook High School to surprise the teams and personally deliver their newly acquired uniforms.  Garçon will visit all three schools in one day, interacting with the students, signing autographs and speaking to the media at each location.
