KENT, U.K. - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Spurred on by an ever increasing clientele the company needed the space to expand and took the leap once Willow Farm Equestrian became available. Horse and other animal feeds sit cheek by jowl with jodhpurs, stirrups and straw bales, in the barn that is now home to this 25 year old business.

“we sell the lot really” says Dave Hover, owner, “feed is our biggest seller, we supply for horses,  donkeys, geese, goats, pigs, poultry, you name it, we’ve got it”.

Looking around the store it becomes evident that amongst the top brand names there is another standing out – it’s Gillett Cook’s own brand, which has a growing customer base and looks set to make it big. Packaging designs have been in-house, and no frills or fancies attached, just top class feed at best prices and it’s where Dave thinks they are best placed to grow the market.

“There’s a large market for brand named animal feed, but there’s also the customer who knows us well, understands  our expertise in producing the right product for the right animal and trusts us to get an own brand right with resulting lower costs. It’s a growing market and we’re really pleased with how it’s performing”.  He Says.

Transformation from barn to a shop, with display stands, gondolas and slat walling needed the vision of a business both local and experienced. Red Cherry Shopliftings based in Sittingbourne have the lead in this market and being local were well placed to respond to the challenge.   “We were called by the owners Dave and Nicky Hover, and when we went to take a look it was clear that with so much diversity of product, everything from clothing to electric fencing, we’d need to look at organisation and display that would show off the products well and get our heads around some great layout possibilities for them.” Says MD Michael Bridgeman.

‘Increased and well placed product and point of sale raises sales even further,  it’s a targeted strategy of product presentation. Customers buy with their eyes - this is the make or break of a sale and is why shop fitting plays such a big part in in-store marketing’ says Michael.

Red Cherry have a great deal of experience in the retail design business and always guarantee fantastic workmanship, great prices and a full 3D layout up front so that the customer can see exactly what they will be getting. Like Dave and Nicky Hover, you could be increasing sales and giving your business that vital push to increase turnover.
