Journey for the future leaders begin at Heritage Business School

KOLKATA, India - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- With this thought keeping in mind, Heritage Business School today welcomed the new batch of MBA students for the session 2013-2015 who are determined to be future managers. The programme was inaugurated by none other than Mr. Sujoy Banerjee, President-Group HR and OD, Mc Nally Bharat Engineering Limited as the Chief Guest followed by Mr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, GM-Sales, Pepsico Ltd. as the Guest of Honor.

Heritage Business School is established by Kalyan Bharti Trust which consists of 23 industrialists from Kolkata who are determined to change the future of the state through quality education. Other educational initiatives of Kalyan Bharat Trust are Heritage Institute of Technology, The Heritage Academy, The Heritage School, Suryakiran- an evening free school and Kalyani- a charitable Health Centre.

The programme was also contributed by the Director of Heritage Business School, Dr. Aloke Kr. Sen, Mr. Probir Roy, ED, Kalyan Bharti Trust, Prof. B.B.Paira, Advisor- Higher Education, Kalyan Bharti Trust and Mr. P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Kalyan Bharti Trust. Previously Heritage Business School was known as Management Education Centre, HIT-K but this year it has been renamed as Heritage Business School giving it a new identity altogether.

Mr. Sujoy Banerjee in his opening address to the future managers stressed on the fact that today’s B-school students should focus on committed decisions with right guidance having the passion to excel in the corporate world. He also spoke about the value of time management, dress code and discipline which is very much essential for the students to succeed.  Followed by his address, Mr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, spoke about the essence of hard work which can determine one’s journey towards the hierarchy of success. Mr. Sarkar gave a wonderful presentation and explained the fact that hardwork can change the fate of a person.

Altogether the session was nicely concluded by the faculty and staff members of Heritage Business School along with senior management officials of Kalyan Bharti Trust. More than 200 students attended the programme making it a grand success.
