DECATUR, Ga. - Aug. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- At eighty-five, author Audrey Frank has released her debut romantic novella Under Margret's Wing and a book of short stories Tales of Love & Mystery. She writes from her historic home in St. Augustine, Florida.

Under Margret's Wing (ISBN-13: 978-1489540058) is a coming of age novella for young adults and adults who are young at heart. A charming story of the relationship between a crusty old spinster and her young niece. An unexpected turn of events proves love can guide you from beyond if you listen with your heart. Available on Amazon and Kindle.

Tales of Love & Mystery (ISBN-13: 978-1491006160) is a collection of eight short stories from the heart. From an ethereal young boy to a demon child, from a wheel chair ridden young woman to a motorcycle lover, the action and dialog zip along. Available on Amazon and Kindle.

Frank is known for her use of dialog that draws readers into her writing and holds their attention. As a young mother she had over 100 children's stories published in religious magazines and several true confessions published for adults. Now retired, after various careers, including that of a professional photographer, she is back to her writing roots.

Audrey Frank is no stranger to St. Augustine. Her former shop, Stamp Augustine, was a pioneer in the art rubber-stamp business and a hub for visitors and stamp artists to gather on Aviles Street, a quaint shopping district off the downtown plaza. After she closed her shop she worked at The Government House, greeting visitors to the city she loves.

Her recent stories have appeared in Nostalgia Magazine, The Oxford So & So Magazine and on many online sites including A Quick Read (a short stories app for the Android phone), Stepping Stones Magazine (a web based journal showcasing artists and writers) and Dew On The Kudzu. In 2012 her essay Haunted tied for grand prize in the Share Your St. Augustine Story contest and she won honorable mention in the St. Augustine Record short story holiday contest.

St. Augustine has been home to the author for more than twenty years. The city is her writing muse.  If you ever get a chance to visit St. Augustine you should take it. The history of the city is everywhere you look, the people are friendly, and the food delicious, she adds as an author's note in Under Margret's Wing.

Frank is a member of the Florida Writers Association.
