Veterans and Family Resource Expo Thursday August 22, 2013 (Van Nuys, CA)

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Thursday, August 22, 2013 the San Fernando Valley Veterans Employment Committee will host a Veterans & Family Resource Expo on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the California Army National Guard facility located at 17330 Victory Blvd in Van Nuys, CA.

 

The Veterans Employment Committee has partnered with the California Employment Development Department (EDD), Veterans Administration, Southern California Health Institute, Project Living Hope and several other community organizations that offer medical and mental health services, job readiness workshops, resources on housing, free clothing, and other assistance for military veterans and their families.

 

Confirmed and invited guests include U.S. Congressman Tony Cardenas, 29^th District; U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman, 30^th District; and Adrin Nazarian, California Assembly Member, District 46.
