The 2013 Range Rover Earns the Top Spot in the 18th APEAL Study

The APEAL study — which stands for Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout — was completely overhauled for its 18^th year. The aggregate results for each model were used to assign it an APEAL score on a 1,000-point scale.

The Land Rover brand ranked 4^th overall in this year’s study; the 2013 Range Rover’s strong showing represents the first time that a vehicle outside of the large premium car segment has taken top honors among all vehicles, solidifying Land Rover’s status as one of the world’s premier manufacturers of luxury SUVs.
