Aug. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Land Rover vehicles are appealing thanks to their combination of luxurious amenities, raw off-road capability, and striking style, none of which is lost on the team at Land Rover Hoffman Estates (http://www.landroverhoffman.com/dealership/about.htm). These merits apparently aren’t lost on J.D. Power and Associates, either — in the 18th APEAL study, the new Range Rover outperformed all of the other vehicles in its segment in 2013.

The APEAL study — which stands for Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout — was completely overhauled for its 18th year. Over 83,000 drivers were questioned about 77 attributes of their new vehicles — needless to say, the study covers all areas of the vehicles in the study, from performance, to style, to efficiency, and much more. The aggregate results for each model were used to assign it an APEAL score on a 1,000-point scale.

The Land Rover brand ranked 4th overall in this year’s study; the 2013 Range Rover’s strong showing represents the first time that a vehicle outside of the large premium car segment has taken top honors among all vehicles, solidifying Land Rover’s status as one of the world’s premier manufacturers of luxury SUVs.

Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, Land Rover North America, hailed the results, saying, “This underscores the investment being made to innovation and engineering across the Land Rover product portfolio and into making this vehicle the most refined, most capable Range Rover ever.”

That the 2013 Range Rover (http://www.landroverhoffman.com/2013-range-rover.htm) has tremendous appeal will not surprise anyone who has been inside the cabin. High-tech features and an opulent interior are defining features of the model, as is nearly unrivaled off-road capability. It’s powered by a tremendous  5.0L engine, but it’s still 700 pounds lighter than its predecessor. The Range Rover was completely redesigned for 2013, and made waves in the auto industry as the first SUV to use an all-aluminum structure, which reduces weight and improves efficiency.

Drivers in the Naperville area who want to see everything that the 2013 Range Rover has to offer are encouraged to visit Land Rover Hoffman Estates. The dealership is located at 1051 W. Higgins Rd. (http://www.landroverhoffman.com/dealership/directions.htm) in Hoffman Estates, IL, and features the full lineup of new Land Rover models.
