FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Aug. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Hold on to your seat... this is going to be a wild season! The New England Patriots ( http://www.foxboroticketking.com ), will be hosting their division rivals, the New York Jets, at Foxborough in the second week in September.  Yes, that's right, the season is just a few weeks away.

That being said, the Patriots have a huge task ahead of them this season.  Their primary objective is to play up to the expectations of the New England fan-base; that's a tough feat!  Their ultimate goals are obviously getting into the playoffs and making a run for the Super Bowl.  Now you know that the coaches, players and owners will never admit it, but they have other goals as well such as the division championship, the conference championship, etc.  They keep a tight lip when discussing this matter and turn the attention on winning each game and not thinking past the game in hand.

A new roster is going to be a true test for QB, Tom Brady.  Brady will have new targets and will have to rely on the ability of his new offensive weapons to learn the playbook quickly in preseason and summer camps.  This is not an easy task, after all, Brady has lost many weapons, Welker, Hernandez and Woodhead just to name a few.  This will pose as a real challenge for the aging quarterback.  However, Brady is a seasoned veteran, smart quarterback and has the intelligence, drive and motivation to put together a team that can stack points on the scoreboard.

Knowing that the team has a lot of challenges this season, fans are hesitant to make bold predictions such as playoff potential, final standings, season record and such accolades.  Regardless of the Patriots record at any point in the season, one thing is sure, the fans will be packing Gillette Stadium every single game and they will receive continued support even for road games.

The season kicks off in September... we only have a few weeks left to get our heads into football mode.  Preseason games this August include the Philadelphia Eagles (Aug 9th in Philadelphia), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Aug 16th in Foxborough), Detroit Lions (Aug 22nd in Detroit) and New York Giants (Aug 29th in New York).
