Their primary objective is to play up to the expectations of the New England fan-base; that's a tough feat! Their ultimate goals are obviously getting into the playoffs and making a run for the Super Bowl. Now you know that the coaches, players and owners will never admit it, but they have other goals as well such as the division championship, the conference championship, etc. They keep a tight lip when discussing this matter and turn the attention on winning each game and not thinking past the game in hand. A new roster is going to be a true test for QB, Tom Brady. Brady will have new targets and will have to rely on the ability of his new offensive weapons to learn the playbook quickly in preseason and summer camps. This is not an easy task, after all, Brady has lost many weapons, Welker, Hernandez and Woodhead just to name a few. This will pose as a real challenge for the aging quarterback. Knowing that the team has a lot of challenges this season, fans are hesitant to make bold predictions such as playoff potential, final standings, season record and such accolades. Regardless of the Patriots record at any point in the season, one thing is sure, the fans will be packing Gillette Stadium every single game and they will receive continued support even for road games.
