600 Global Inc. Gives Back to Children’s Hospital with Special Visit

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Aug. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- 600 Global Inc. helped to fund a special visit from Blackhawks Head Coach to the Chicago’s Children’s hospital.  The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation that 600 Global donates to annually, treats children that cannot otherwise afford treatment in the Chicago area. 

During the visit Coach Q, some of his staff, and the Stanley Cup visited the patients and spoke to all 218 patients in a special program in the Family Life Center.  For children that were too sick to come down in person, Coach Q sent them a special message through the Skylight TV network.  He told the kids how inspired he was by their courage, and that they were his Chicago heroes.  Many of the children even got to get pictures with the cup - the kids were thrilled!

Gena Johnson, Personal Foundation Liaison of theAnn & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation, wrote to 600 Global about the event, “I thought it was a nice opportunity to share how honored and touched we all are by the support of our community- not only the role models who come to boost kid’s spirits, but our hospital friends who make our work possible.  Please accept a huge thank you for all you do to make this hospital so special for our kids and their families!”

600 Global prides themselves on their continuous support of the community.  Organizational Administrator for 600 Global, Ashley, comments, “I love that fact that 600 Global is so involved with the community and is constantly giving back.  It makes me feel good that my company cares as much as I do about the community!”  600 Global is actively a part of many different charities including Operation Smile and the Red Cross.
