Drinking Soda Causes More Health Problems Than Previously Suspected

Reports are showing that drinking soda regularly leads to more health problems that previously believed

BOSTON - Aug. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Soda was deemed unhealthy long ago, but reports are beginning to show that it is even worse for your health than previously believed.

Since soda contains a very high amount of sugar, it is very high in calories.  This leads to weight gain.  This is one of the most common problems associated with high soda consumption.

However, soda can also cause other health problems, such as diabetes, dental problems, and heart disease.  Recent reports have shown a link between high soda consumption and these health issues.

Along with sugar, caffeine plays a part in the dangers that soda presents.  A normal can of soda has 41 grams of sugar and 38 milligrams of caffeine.

Studies have also shown that diet soda is not much better for your overall health. Diet soda, although lower in sugar, still tends to contain high amounts of caffeine, and people who consume diet soda are actually more overweight in general than those who consume regular soda.
