Gardere Attorney Glenn Singleton Selected to 39th Leadership Dallas Class

Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- DALLAS – Attorney Glenn T. Singleton, a Corporate associate at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, has been chosen by the Dallas Regional Chamber^® to join the 39^th Leadership Dallas class. Leadership Dallas, the region’s premier leadership development program, aims to provide the city with an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the culture, commerce and quality of life in North Texas.

“Glenn continues a long tradition of Gardere attorneys serving on Leadership Dallas,” says Gardere Chair Holland N. O’Neil. “His participation fosters the corporate-community partnership that is mutually important to both the city and businesses such as Gardere that reside downtown and contribute to the city’s growth and vibrancy.”

The 10-month educational program is designed to empower participants to develop their leadership capabilities while building strong relationships with fellow classmates and community leaders. Since its formation in 1975, Leadership Dallas has graduated more than 1,800 men and women who continue in business and community leadership throughout North Texas.

“I am honored to be included in this year’s class, and I look forward to meeting other community leaders as we work to positively impact North Texas,” Mr. Singleton says. “Although I’m not a Texas native, Dallas has become my adopted home, and I am excited about its potential.”

Actively involved in the Dallas community, Mr. Singleton is co-chair of Klyde Warren Park Friends of the Park and a volunteer for the Dallas-Area Habitat for Humanity. He is also the founder of Young Professionals in Private Equity, a Dallas-area networking group geared toward private equity professionals.

A 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Singleton is a member Gardere’s Corporate Practice Group. His diverse practice encompasses all areas of corporate law, from general contract drafting and negotiation to counseling clients on complex business operations, planning and corporate governance, equity and debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Singleton also is a member of Gardere’s Private Equity Industry Team and Startups/Emerging Business Team.
