Foodie Website Launches 90-Day Campaign to Help End World Hunger

ULTIMO, Australia - Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- A new breed of foodie website has set the benchmark for corporate social responsibility. Dinh Tran, an avid foodie and founder of Eat the Globe, aims to make a mark in alleviating world hunger through her recently launched website, EatTheGlobe.com.

Eat the Globe is all about bringing lovers of food from all continents together in an online community to share their food stories - whether it’s a memorable dish at a favourite local restaurant, an old-family recipe, or a recommended foodie holiday destination, Eat the Globe will have you on a path to discovering plenty of tasty delights from all corners of the world.

“I wanted to create a ‘one-stop-shop’ for other foodies looking for memorable food experiences no matter where they happen to live or be travelling,” explained Dinh.

Dinh has been supporting Oxfam for the last 12 years, so it is no surprise that she is now using Eat the Globe to raise awareness and funds for a cause that she has believed in for more than a decade.

Dinh said, “Food is a great way to bring people together, and I thought it would also be a fantastic opportunity to engage like-minded people to give something back.”

For every food story shared on Eat the Globe from June 1 until Aug 31, 2013, one dollar (AU$1) will be donated to Oxfam.

Join the Eat the Globe community, share your food story, make some culinary discoveries of your own and feel good knowing that you are making a contribution to a campaign that is making a small but bold step in addressing a serious global concern – world hunger.
