Toyota Debuts Hybrid Corolla in Japan | McCarthy Toyota of Sedalia

ATLANTA - Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- SEDALIA, MISSOURI— Toyota recently announced that they will be introducing a hybrid version of the best-selling Corolla in Japan.

 

Currently, Toyota has six different hybrid models available on the market, and plans to produce 21 total hybrid models through the end of 2015.

 

About 20 percent of the vehicles sold in Japan last year were hybrids, illustrating the country’s demand for fuel-efficient vehicles. Although hybrids have been growing in popularity in the U.S., Toyota does not currently have plans to market the Corolla hybrid in the North American market.
