OAF Media Launch New Digital Music Outlet, RACKET

ILKESTON, U.K. - Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- RACKET aims to take a local and global look at all genres of music and music culture, with music audio exclusives, music video premieres, DJ mixes, live events and any other types of music entertainment they can think of. OAF Media (http://www.oafmedia.co.uk) are looking for brands to partner with for the platform, as well as a team of online editors.

Among the content that launched  with the platform is an exclusive interview with Peripheral Visionaries, the young DJ duo that have been touring with Benga this year; "This Is Quite Amazing" or “TIQA,” a focus on the EDM scene with exclusive interviews and audio; “This is live?” a series that showcases footage of live gigs and other music events.

OAF Media founder Ashley Allen claims that RACKET was founded in response to the growth of digital music, the movement and the experiences surrounding it and wanting to keep music separate to the main OAF site; “We started digging into the local scene and finding all this incredible music, and we were keen to create a dedicated channel for this, so we came up with RACKET, and because we have found so much music we like, we wanted to keep it off the OAF site and have a dedicated platform for to share it,” Allen says.

RACKET is the newest addition to OAF Media’s ever-expanding media portfolio. In May 2013, the creative media agency founded new counterculture website called OAF, which has already accumulated thousands of pageviews and is going to print next month as a magazine (http://www.thisisoaf.co.uk/2013/08/oaf-to-move-into-print/); launched an in-house music & PR agency that looks after the likes of ReggiiMental and more; added major clients like Moon Gang Clothing (http://moongang.bigcartel.com) to its in-house ad agency roster; and reached over 1,000 followers on Twitter (http://twitter.com/thisisoaf).
