NORWALK, Calif. - Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the leading provider of applied Engineering Technology education curricular programs used in middle and high schools across the U.S. The PLTW curriculums are based on integration of the technology in problem-solving and critical-thinking skills taught in traditional career and technical education (CTE). PLTW also provides introductions and fundamentals knowledge to students interested in Engineering technology and Engineering.

Cerritos College is one of three post-secondary schools and five universities in California that are PLTW certified schools. In order to be a PLTW certified school, instructors need to complete a rigorous academic training and receive certification for each of the courses they teach.
