Ultra-High Power Density AC-DC in an Open Frame Design

WRENTHAM, Mass. - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Wrentham, MA — Power Sources Unlimited announces the new TOP-200 Series of open-frame AC/DC power supplies. These units feature the highest power rating in a 3.0″ x 5.0″ (76.2 x 127.0mm) industry standard footprint supplying up to 200 Watts of output power with convection cooling over an industrial operating temperature range of –25°C to +70°C.

By meeting global safety and EMC standards, the TOP-200 Series qualifies for a variety of worldwide markets. Approved for Class l and Class ll applications, these switchers are suitable for industrial and ITE systems but also for consumer products.

The TOP-200 series is available in four models with outputs ranging from 12 to 48VDC. Standard features include super-high efficiency of >90% which eliminates the need for a dedicated power supply cooling fan, low-leakage current, over-voltage protection, compliance with EN 61000-3-2 and EMI filter meets EN 55022, level B.

Units start under $65 each in OEM quantities. Prototypes are available in 1–2 weeks. All TRACOPOWER products are RoHS compliant and backed by a 3 year warranty.
