Colorado’s American Legion Female Veterans Action Committee

LONGMONT, Colo. - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- On Saturday, August 10, 2013, from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm, The American Legion, Department of Colorado’s Female Veterans Action Committee will be holding an important event open to ALL female veterans, at The American Legion Post 32 located at 315 South Bowen Street, Longmont, Colorado.

 There will be speakers providing information about Women’s Health Care in the VA, Adjudication of VA Claims, Hearts and Horses Equine Assisted Therapy, the Colorado Female Veterans Action Committee and Legion membership.  Also, there will be a screening of the movie “The Invisible War,” with a discussion about the movie to follow its conclusion.

 There will be pastries and beverages available for the event attendees and there will be a working lunch also.
