NBC revealed that they will be using 24-cameras attached together in a rig (two of these actually one in each end zone) building a multi-camera system that can capture scenes simultaneously from multiple angles.

Aug. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- 360 Photography goes way back to the famous 1999 Keanu Reeves movie, The Matrix. Used as a creative visual effect, 360 Photography was able to capture the awesomeness of Neo dodging and stopping flying bullets. Please watch movie clip below:

The same type of effect will now be used by NBC to capture pro Football games. NHK, famous Japanese television show already announced about providing a richer and immersive coverage in 360 degrees photography. NBC revealed that they will be using 24-cameras attached together in a rig (two of these actually one in each end zone) building a multi-camera system that can capture scenes simultaneously from multiple angles. An image stitching software will stitch and process all images together to create a 360 degrees photography effect on the scene.
