Brando Brannon Bates is having trouble in Paradise

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The long lasting couple of almost ten years are confirmed as being "on the rocks" by a close friend of the couple who asked to remain anonymous. There have been a lot of rumours and gossip about the couple and few have seen them together this past year but this insider confirms that "it isn't good". Much of the problems come from the fact that his wife is "ticking" to have children and the infamous rocker doesn't want to settle down just yet. "I don't think it's because he doesn't want to grow roots but rather he's busy and has a lot going on with his music and film career".

The underground artist better known as Brando Brannon Bates has been hiding from main-stream film and music for several years because he doesn't want to "be told how to make his art" and considers it "selling out". Quoting the artist from a recent magazine interview he said "I'd rather do it my way, even if that means that not as many people get to see it, I'd rather do what inspires me even if that means I'm not on magazine covers, which honestly that would piss me off anyway because it would mean that that many more wierdos would come up to me and want to talk and shit. I like doing things on my terms. I like to be where I want to be, creating what I want to create, and have the freedom to work on music one day, film another day, painting or my new passion, sculpting. The last thing I need is some studio head up my ass telling me I'm on a deadline. If that means I don't stand on yachts with champaigne then so be it. It hurts I admit, I do love yachts" He smiles that smile we love so much. "I'm an artist, and this industry has been overcome by people who want to be rich and famous and could care less about the art. They scour the film festivals and foreign films looking for something they can copycat and attach big names to so they can make a few hundred million. All the while, burrying the artists who have so much to share with the world. I try to ride a fine line between fame and freedom. We tried to catch Bates for an interview but we were pushed away from his hotel room by security. Some sources that would not go on record suggested that drugs and alcohol could be adding to the problems. He swears he hasn't touched anything other than prescription meds for several years, but insiders think this could be a storm on the horizon considering his timutous past.
