In eight steps you can make a difference for Hamline University Veterans

Aug. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Hamline University is committed to supporting veterans and their families by providing exceptional support and great academic experiences. As a sign of this commitment, Hamline University has created an all new Veterans Support Center, located in the lower level of Bush Center once known as the HUB.   The VSC is a place for Hamline’s veteran population to come and study, get tutoring and attend presentations by professors, and a place to build networks and friendships at Hamline University. The center will be managed by the Center for Student Success and Transition.

Lora Nichols, president of the Veterans Student Group said, “Our dedication event will feature Hamline University veterans, staff, administrators, faculty and elected officials who will join with the Hamline University community to celebrate the grand opening of the new Veterans Support Center.”

The Veteran Student Group is currently seeking public donations to help support the operations of the new center. Donation can be made today by following these eight easy steps:

1. Using your favorite web browser, navigate to www.hamline.edu/giving.
2. Fill out the online form with your information.
3. Click the Next button to move to page two.
4. Enter your chosen donation amount in the “Other” box.
5. In the section that reads “Instructions for applying my donation:” please   enter Hamline Veterans Support Center.
6. Click the Next button to move to the secure credit card transaction site.
7. Click the check box to accept the terms, and click the Continue with your donation button.
8. Complete the transaction by entering your credit card information.

To mail your donation, please make your check payable to Hamline University-VSC and mail it to the following address:

The dedication event is free and open to the public and we would like to thank you in advance for your generous donations. Hamline University is a tax-deductible entity and all donations will be recorded and a receipt sent to donors for their generous gifts.
