By: Interstate Process Servers Two enterprising gentlemen are looking to do something for the middle class. They may not be politicians or corporate giants. However, they are onto something that could be large enough to sustain a living for many workers that have nowhere to turn. Interstate Process Servers has been started in May 2013 by Jamison Whittaker, J.D. (Juris Doctor) and Russell Phillips. Jamison is a graduate from law school seeing a very depressed time for starting a practice of law. Russell Phillips is a veteran of small business ownership and has a long background in Corporate management. According to Russell Phillips "There is a tremendous opportunity to do our part and put people to work all across the United States, our ability to train our staff in house on the rules of civil procedure and send them out to serve legal process can provide a very profitable business, and provide our employees a great opportunity to earn a decent living". In a time with shrinking budgets, increasing rates on just about everything, Interstate Process Servers is looking to reduce rates. Russell states "By leveraging economies of scale, we can take legal process service and reduce it to the cost of an overnight shipment". "Although this will take time, our goal is to increase the communication that law firms are use to getting on their process serving and reduce the cost of litigation for all parties involved". Interstate Process Servers operates from the web, getting most of their business from their main website www.InterstatePS.com. Since it's inception Interstate Process Servers has a 40% growth rate month after month and it looks like demand can sustain that type of growth for the rest of its first full year of operation. Interstate Process Servers is looking to put people to work all over the United States in a business where $30.00 per hour can be the usual. Not everyone can be retrained and go back to school, bills have to be paid today. Interstate Process Servers may be able to make some headway and put hundreds, if not thousands, back to work within the next coming years.
