Prices of tools have gone sky-high for shovels, spades, rakes, hoes, brooms, post hole diggers etc. It is mainly because they are made of steel, have individual handles and lack sufficient competition.

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - Aug. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Louis F. Mlecka and son Phillip have invented a Multi-use Lawn and Garden Tool that can change all that.  It consists of one handle that is designed to interchange most tools, especially those made of plastic, which will elininate the wood and metal handles.  The tool comes apart to reveal a spike to jab up paper, bottles, cans and other trash on the ground.

The basic tool alone can be used to dig holes for posts, plants and small trees. It can also be used to plug grass and install termite stations Also includes a hacksaw blade attached to the handle at the top.  The cap can be removed and replaced with a coupling to which a long pipe can be attached, making it possible to cut tree limbs without using a ladder.

Mlecka said, all we need now is to find someone to manufacture this basic tool and also make  some of the other tools of plastic.

Anyone interested in helping to bring this about can call 352-796-2089 or email mlecka@att.net.

A copy of a working prototype is available.  Patent Pending. Photo also available.
