GARLAND, Texas - Aug. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- GARLAND, TX - In the midst of heightened racial relations with stereotypes flying from all sides, working wife and mother of six, A’Mera Frieman has created a new fictional book series that gives way to an alternative view of diversity and multi-racial challenges. America is a melting pot of ethnicities, and A’Mera has brought many to her series to emphasize interactions between races and within sub-cultures. “Breaking the Line: Victoria’s Beginning”, the first book of the Breaking the Line Book series, invites readers to experience and understand living a life of diversity.

A’Mera Frieman, the author, is married with six multi-racial children (www.breakingthelinebooks.com). She has a BAS in Criminal Justice and Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. Frieman uses her experiences and knowledge of living and working with diversity as an African American woman from an ethnically diverse background to create dynamic characters and page turning drama.

Breaking the Line Books is a new line of fictional dramatic books designed to offer readers a new look at living with diversity. The entire series details the lives of everyday people who are trying to find their path through life against ordinary and supernatural obstacles. The first book of the line, “Breaking the Line: Victoria's Beginning” gives readers insight into the dynamic characters of the series. Born different and to an ethnically diverse family, the main character, Victoria has to face many challenges and hardships while trying to keep her faith in God.

The Breaking the Line Books series follows Victoria into adulthood and beyond while she is trying to “break the line” of rejection, hate, prejudice, jealousy, and failure. Readers will feel as if they are experiencing the same trials and triumphs as Victoria as she tries to find acceptance and love. They will also be able to understand the depth of interactions within sub-cultures like country/city life, parent/child relationships, and living as multi-racial - as the color of one’s skin matters whether they are accepted or rejected. The book line is also faith-based and intended to inspire readers to “break” their own line.

While there are many books that explain culture prejudices and provide inspiration, Frieman’s give a new and more creative view of living and trying to succeed inside a sub-culture in a society that is not color blind.
