Summer event offers peace of mind motoring for disabled drivers in North London area

ENFIELD, U.K. - Aug. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- A special summer event dedicated to supporting the mobility needs of disabled people in the North London and East Hertfordshire community is being organised by Enfield based dealership, Brayley Honda.

In association with national charity, Motability, Brayley Honda is holding the event at its dealership located on Great Cambridge Road, Enfield, on 17/18 August. Attended by Motability trained specialists, as well as a car adaptations company to help tailor individual requirements, the event will include vehicle presentations and test drives.

Established for over 35 years, the Motability scheme enables disabled people to drive a brand new car using their Government-funded mobility allowances. Anyone receiving the Higher Rate Motability Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Motability Supplement can exchange the allowance to lease a vehicle. More than three million people have benefited from the scheme so far.

A number of Honda models will be offered with a zero advance payment, including the best-selling Jazz. Capable of taking many kinds of fold-up wheelchairs, the car’s wide door aperture is ideal for accommodating drivers and passengers of restricted mobility. As an added incentive, all new cars ordered over the weekend will include free parking sensors and £100 cash back.

For total peace of mind, the Motability package with Brayley Honda includes fully comprehensive insurance for up two registered disabled drivers, road tax, servicing, breakdown cover, tyre and windscreen cover.
