Qwana Reynolds-Frasier goal is to show “My Friends” that they have a story to tell and they should look at their trauma as a gift. However, if her readers have not had a personal trauma Qwana strives to make them aware of what their fellow, “Friends” are going through. Her readers should ask themselves the question, “how can I help the people around me that have overcome or are in the process of overcoming trauma?”

About the Author

Qwana M. “BabyGirl” Reynolds-Frasier is a 37-year-old Native New Yorker currently residing in Bergen County NJ. She graduated from City College in Harlem with a Bachelors degree of Psychology. Qwana is currently working as a Case Manager for a Non Profit Organization in New York City; She works in a Juvenile Detention Center for Boys. She has worked in the Social Service field for over 16 years where she has worked with families from all cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Qwana Reynolds-Frasier decided that she wanted to provide a work that would be available to anyone seeking motivation, inspiration, and hope. Her experiences helped to create, “Friend in Your Pocket”; She is humbled and forever indebted to those children, their families, and her co-workers for allowing her to share some of their most intimate and rawest moments.
