HBD has hired Thomas Reed and Eric Zimmerman as project managers, Cody Langenstein as project engineer and Nathan Munie as a preconstruction engineer. The four new staff members provide expertise for the company in its many diverse areas of construction projects including health care, senior living, education and retail.

The company is working on a number of high profile projects in the St. Louis area, including recently being named the Construction Manager for the Forest Park hospital site conversion for the St. Louis Zoo. The site conversion includes demolishing the Forest Park hospital, grading the site for additional surface parking, and rehabbing the seven story parking garage. The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2014. HBD has also experienced national growth with projects in Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Nevada.
