The Signature Room Offers Incomparable View And Gourmet Cuisine For Chicago's Air & Water Show

CHICAGO - Aug. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Chicago, Ill. -- Local Chicagoans and visitors consider the Chicago Air and Water Show one of the best events of the summer. This year, on Saturday, August 17^th and Sunday, August 18^th from 11a.m. – 4 p.m., guests at The Signature Room® are invited to enjoy the spectacle from an exclusive, private party with a Champagne welcome and the best view in the city. For $130 per person, guests can enjoy reserved seats, gourmet cuisine, summer cocktails and a variety of other beverages. With an 1100-foot advantage over all other viewing areas in Chicago, seats will sell quickly. Reservations will be taken beginning August 1st.

This year’s show headliners include the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, The Firebirds Delta Team, Dave Dacy in the Super Stearman, Sean D. Tucker & Team Oracle and more plus several new acts including the All Veteran Parachute Team.  Guests of The Signature Room’s private event won’t miss a detail as ongoing commentary of the show will be aired throughout the event.

From 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., breakfast selections include assorted muffins, croissants with maple butter, yogurt parfaits, bagels with smoked salmon, chive cream cheese, capers, boiled eggs and red onion, and a gourmet coffee station with chocolate shavings, citrus zest, cinnamon sticks and Chantilly cream.

From 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. the lunch buffet will include an antipasti platter including assorted charcuterie, artisan cheese, olives, pickled vegetables and gourmet crackers, black bean hummus with plantain chips, mixed green salad, grilled vegetable wraps, truffle chicken sandwiches, chicken picatta, turkey sliders and steak sandwiches.

Sweets lovers will enjoy a house made dessert buffet served from 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. including mini peach pies, red velvet whoopie pies, and seasonal fruit tarts.
