eSchool Media honors 2013-14 Readers’ Choice Award winners

BETHESDA, Md. - Aug. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Aug. 1, 2013—eSchool Media, a publisher of three leading educational technology news networks – eSchool News (K-20), eCampus News (higher education), and eClassroom News (teachers) – has announced the winners of its 2013-14 Readers’ Choice Awards, honoring the best products and services in educational technology as chosen by readers.

Educators and administrators from K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across North America nominated their favorite ed-tech product or service from February through April 2013; to maintain the integrity of the program, nominations from vendors were not accepted. When submitting nominations, educators were asked to describe how they were using each product to improve teaching, learning, or school administration—and to what effect.

The result “is a list of ed-tech products and services that have proven to be effective,” said Editor in Chief Dennis Pierce. “We hope readers will find this information valuable as they consider what technologies they should use in their own schools.”
Nearly 700 nominations were received, and from these, eSchool Media editors chose 40 winning products and 60 honorable mentions, based on the quality of the nomination.
