By: U.S. Pain Foundation

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Aug. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Middletown, Conn.) The U.S. Pain Foundation has re-launched their online INvisible Project website in an effort to bring the stories of those living with chronic pain to a wider audience in a more dynamic and interactive way.

The INvisible Project was created in 2010 to raise awareness of chronic pain through the photographs and stories of real pain survivors.

Through these visual images, the INvisible Project shows the determination and strength of those living with pain.  Nearly 100 million Americans deal with pain.

The INvisible Project has traveled to 15 states across the nation, and now, the full gallery is available for online viewing.

“Because we can’t always see the pain a person is living with, the purpose of the INvisible Project is to shine a spotlight on our brave pain warriors, to show others living with chronic pain that they’re not alone, and to raise awareness about the struggles that chronic pain causes millions of Americans to deal with each day,” said Paul Gileno, President and Founder of the U.S. Pain Foundation.  “Bringing that information to cities across the nation has been very rewarding, and now putting this resource online will make this information available to pain patients across the country and the world.”

Visitors to InvisibleProject.org (http://www.invisibleproject.org/) can read the real life stories of those living with chronic pain, and learn about how they can participate in upcoming live and online events.
