Oregon Brain Injury Rehab Clinic Adds Physical Therapist Trained at Pacific University

PORTLAND, Ore. - July 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Daniel Cooper, DPT, has been hired by Progressive Rehabilitation Associates as a physical therapist for their Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, (BIRC). Cooper earned his DPT from Pacific University, and also holds a Bachelors’ degree in Exercise Science.  

“I enjoy working with this multidisciplinary group to coordinate the aspects of care that address physical and movement related tasks”, Daniel shared.  “My focus on neuro-motor rehabilitation emphasizes proper movement strategies with attention to balance and motor control in order for our clients with brain injuries to regain functional independence in their environment.”

Each BIRC team member, in addition to being an expert in his/her own field, understands critical aspects of every other discipline represented on the team. The BIRC team members work together to formulate the treatment plan, establish measurable goals and monitor client progress.

BIRC programs are accredited by the Commission of the Accreditation of Rehabilitation facilities, (CARF).
