PRLog -- Dr. Sompob Sansiri, who runs the SP Clinic—
one of the most well-known cosmetic surgery centers in Thailand—
has been attacked by someone who called himself “Dr. Pitch of Bangkok.”
This name is not real, as when we do a search for “Dr. Pitch of Bangkok”
, the name only that appeared was for a Dr. Pitch from a well-known hospital in Thailand.
Dr. Pitch of Bangkok has spread bad reviews about Dr. Sansiri by using photos from other blogs and claiming to be of Dr. Sansiri’
s patients. To defame Dr. Sansiri, “Dr. Pitch”
wrote on his blogs (which have become widespread) that the botched surgeries seen in the photos belong to Dr. Sansiri’
s patients and these patients have turned to “Dr. Pitch”
to fix the damages.
All of this information from “Dr. Pitch”
was only to bring himself more patients. Because the SP Clinic is one of the most famous cosmetic surgery centers in Thailand, people searching for it online will look to the reviews before making a decision about whether they should choose this clinic or not.
“Dr. Pitch’
s” defamatory actions have caused the SP Clinic to lose business. As such, this case is now under investigation which will result in a lawsuit in the near future. However, Google and many other blogging networks refuse to take down the false claims, stating that the lawsuit to be in affect before they can take action. And this makes it more difficult for the clinic to fight back since Dr. Pitch does not use his real name on the defamatory blogs.
The photos that “Dr. Pitch”
claims are of Dr. Sansiri’
s patients were stolen from the following original sources:
http://drtoriumipatienttestimonialsandsugges.blogspot.com/and
http://medicalcomplaint.blogspot.no/2006_11_01_archive.htmlAfter an investigation to gather evidence for the lawsuit, it has come to light that “Dr. Pitch”
has been hiring people to post bad reviews of the SP Clinic on TripAdvisor based on the fake photos. This will lead to further investigations and legal actions against the members on TripAdvisor who are not real patients of the SP Clinic.
