Pennsylvania Publishing Company Hosts Contest for Aspiring Poets and Photographers

LANGHORNE, Pa. - July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Start-up publishing house, Green Oak Press will launch the "United Angels Dream" Art and Literary contest on August 1.

"United Angels Dream," the brainchild of intuitive publicist and Green Oak Press’s creative director, Steven Cuoco, is an opportunity for emerging and established artists and writers to showcase his or her talent in a publication. The first edition of "United Angels Dream" will feature photography and poetry, weaved impeccably together to tell a unique story.

“We’re all angels,” says Cuoco. “And united we have one dream – to be known, to be respected, to be appreciated, to be acknowledged. The 'United Angels Dream' series will bring different artistic mediums that almost mirror each other together in one place. And by collaborating with different artists and writers, Green Oak Press will be able to unite these people in their dream.”

This is the first of many contests Green Oak Press plans to run for its United Angels Dream series. The first edition will solely focus on poetry and photography, but in the future the company will host additional contests to seek out evolving talent in other genres including: sculpture, literary narratives, short stories, etc.  

The 2013 "United Angels Dream" Art and Literary Contest will commence on August 1 and participants can submit work until October 31.
