Try the experience of a safari in Africa with The Wilderness Society

The Wilderness Society Africa is an African travel specialist that goes far beyond the usual concept of tour operator.

MOWBRAY, South Africa - July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- We define ourselves as a community of discerning travelers, coordinated by a selected team of African specialists, with a great experience in African wilderness and expeditions, in Africa and beyond. We create tailor-made holidays off the beaten track, self-drive 4x4 expeditions, wildlife photography safaris, documentary workshops, journeys of distinction for honeymooners, families with kids, or small parties of friends.

Maybe some of our expeditions are not for the very first time traveller in Africa. Maybe it doesn't suit those who can’t stand too much heat or the absence of shampoo. Certainly it is not for the touch-and-go type of tourist. This is actually for those who want an in-depth experience into African wilderness, passionate about bird watching or top notch wildlife photography, interested in understanding the bush, or to find out what animals' display are about, those who want to learn the skills to survive in the bush, or to observe how nature can teach us tricks and tips essential for survival.

We organize 5-14 day training courses in the African savannahs of Botswana and South Africa, with a stay in our luxury bushvilla in the Blue Canyon Conservancy, based close to the primest private reserves of Kruger NP, the Panorama Route and the Blyde River.

To join a camping safari in Africa (http://www.thewildernessociety.com/) using tented camps is a very convenient way to explore wild areas and also one of the best way for a full-immersion into the nature. Groups are international and small, with an average age ranging between 30 and 60. Solo travelers are not normally required to pay a supplement unless they are unwilling to share a tent with a travel companion of the same gender. Camping safaris may have a different level of price and comfort, but guests share a common passion for wild nature and the outdoor life.
