Castlegem launching E3-v3 series & offering DDOS protection up to 10gbps in Chicago

CHICAGO - July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- We are happy to announce the official release of the E3-v3 series for our dedicated server range. By no means decommissioning the v2 series, which has proven extremely reliable and stable as well as high performing, the latest E3 series tagged v3 offers even better performance than its predecessor.

According to their passmark values, one may expect a typical performance increase of around 7% - a nice gain for those who seek top benchmarks in today's single CPU servers.

Despite the higher price and operating costs, we have kept pricing very close to that of the v2 series to allow clients to benefit easily from the advantages these new models offer!

Last month we announced our Chicago PoP DDOS protection service. Feedback has been great, and we have decided to make the larger option available to our clients as well: we can now offer DDOS protection and mitigation up to 10gbps and 6mpps. Admittedly, while there are no setup costs, the fee for this kind of protection is higher than for the entry version which offers 2gbps and 500kpps, but clients who run multiple servers can easily combine their entire setup into one DDOS protected bundle, thus spreading costs. Traffic fees are, however, lower than for the 2gbps setup!
