Event will include tours of newly-installed 45 KW Solar PV System on rooftop.
By: Energy Systems Sales & Training LLC Marcel Veronneau, founder of ESST, has just installed a 182 solar energy panel system on the rooftop of ESST’s 3,300 square foot building. “ESST is hosting the August 3rd Open House to introduce ‘green’ oriented commercial and industrial building owners, and ‘green’ builders to the many benefits of affordable, renewable solar energy. By attending the Open House, visitors can talk directly with CEFIA about C-PACE programs and learn about different ways the Federal Government and the State of Connecticut can assist with obtaining funding for the installation of a solar PV system.” Veronneau continued, “We installed our 45 KW Solar Photovoltaic System on our rooftop on July 7th, and we have already calculated that we will save over $11,000 in electricity bills for the first year of operation of the solar PV system. Our system is fully grid-tied to Northeast Utilities which instantly reduced our electrical bill. This solar PV system produces enough energy to power the equivalent of nine residential homes with each panel producing 250 watts of electrical power. We guarantee that when a solar PV system is installed correctly, it has the capability to provide measurable cost, and tax, savings during the lifetime of the building.” The innovative C-PACE - Connecticut Property Assessed Clean Energy programs are the result of legislation passed on January 1, 2013 to work with building owners, municipalities, contractors, project developers and investors to assist them to access affordable financing for energy upgrades for most commercial buildings. C-PACE has projects across Connecticut that are helping commercial, industrial and multi-family property owners access affordable, long-term financing for smart energy upgrades to their buildings. The C-PACE website states, “C-PACE allows building owners to finance qualifying energy efficiency and clean energy improvements through placing a voluntary assessment on their property tax bill. Property owners pay for the improvements over time through this additional charge on their property tax bill and the repayment obligation transfers automatically to the next owner if the property is sold. Similar to a sewer tax assessment, capital provided under the C-PACE program is secured by a lien on the property, so low-interest capital can be raised from the private sector with no government financing required. PACE financing offers a broad range of benefits to building owners, municipalities, mortgage holders, lenders and energy efficiency/renewable energy contractors.” To learn more about the August 3rd Energy Systems Sales & Training LLC’s Solar Power Open House, and their cost-saving newly-installed solar power system, contact ESST at 203-841-0092, visit www.EnergySystemsLLC.com, or contact Marcel Veronneau at marcel@EnergySystemsLLC.com (mailto:mveronneau@ End
