Author Hank Quense’s Novel Earns Fantasy Satire AwardThe Wise Bear Digital book review states, in part, “Falstaff’s Big Gamble by Hank Quense uses three prominent Shakespearean characters to create a satirical fantasy world reminiscent of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Kudos to Quense for taking two tragic plays and creating an innovative modern day farce.
By: Strange Worlds Publishing Other reviews for Falstaff’ This was one of those books I couldn't put down once, the constant bickering between the trolls, the ludicrous battle plans, and one very confused elf. I got wrapped up in the outrageous troll scenes, twisted plots, running my imagination wild! All your favorite Shakespeare characters are portrayed as Dwarves, Elves, Trolls, in this witty, comical, and adventurous tale of a whole other world called Gundarland.. Skye: The Booknatic Hank Quense has pulled it off again! He is simply a marvelous writer- so witty and fun...you do not want this book to end. I loved all of the characters- and what a bunch of characters there are!
