Expressing Motherhood is Headed to Chicago For The First Time

The national play that consists of local people sharing their stories about motherhood is headed to Chicago this September.

LOS ANGELESE, Calif. - July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Expressing Motherhood, the national hit play about motherhood, is headed to Chicago for the first time. A cast of midwest moms has been set and the show will take place in the Belmont district at Stage 773.

The much anticipated arrival of the hit show will showcase moms who have written their own material regarding motherhood and will share it on stage.

The cast also consists of two Los Angeles moms, 2 Boston moms and 2 Ohio moms. The cult like following is evident. Moms have already booked hotel rooms and are planning on making a girl weekend out of the show.

Co-Creators Lindsay Kavet and Jessica Cribbs were recently interviewed by Maria Shriver at Kavet's home, for the Today Show.

"The show is cathartic for people," says Producer Cribbs. "A lot of times the women and sometimes men, have never even performed on stage!"

"We created this show for moms to get out here again or for the first time, push themselves, express themselves, have fun and to let someone else put the kids to bed, " says Kavet.

There will be four shows:

September 19th @8PM

September 20th @8PM

September 21st @2PM and 8PM

Tickets are $30 and are on sale now. The shows often sell out.

"It makes for a really great night out with friends or family," says Kavet "And yes, even men enjoy our show."
