While on leave in Saudi Arabia, he meets Osama bin Laden. MacLeod’s first assignment takes him to Pakistan to train the Afghan Mujahideen to fight the Russians. There he discovers a halfway house run by bin Laden, who tells the Scot that he believes Saddam Hussein will attack Kuwait.

McLeod tells his supervisors of bin Laden’s warning, but is ignored. Showing his frustration, he is put on leave. Then he learns he killed the wrong men for the murder of his wife. What is in store for The Glaswegian?
